Plot:
Becoming more and more desperate over Lois' safety, Superman believes Luthor is behind the abduction of the Daily Planet building and breaks into the Luthor Tower to find him. Meanwhile, Luthor is watching him from Brainiac's Skull Ship, helping the conquereor scan Supergirl's DNA in order to callibrate his exobyte's to digitise Superman.
Initiating his plan to alienate Superman from Earth, Luthor has Brainiac unleash various prisoners from Arkham Asylum; enhancing them with powers already stolen by the exobytes. As the Justice League move to quell the riot, Superman is contacted by Luthor, who has returned to Metropolis with the Daily Planet and calls Superman for assistance in "fending off" Brainiac's Enforcers as he restores the building. In doing this, however, Superman leaves the league to fend for themselves, resulting in the Exobytes stealing the remainder of Martian Manhunter's powers.
