Gorilla Smashers are servants of Gorilla Grodd that can be found on the Queensland Boardwalk, as well as further inland. Their master has set out to devolve the citizens of the Little Bohemia district, in Metropolis, and these Smashers search the area for any heroes that might stand in the way of Grodd's plans.

Gorilla Smashers have been deployed throughout the Little Bohemia district by their master, Gorilla Grodd, where they patrol in search of heroes to crush. They have been sent to protect the Devolution Units and Neural Arrays placed throughout the area, and their primary concern is stopping any interlopers that may be nosing about.
