Knock Back is a combat move underutilized by many NPCs. Generally, it involves said NPCs knocking the player into the air backwards, with the magnitude varying greatly depending on the NPC.
Knock backs may or may not deal damage.
The guardians of the Safe Houses have, by far, the strongest knock back against a member of the opposing faction, being able to send them soaring over buildings and pass several city blocks, but dealing no damage.
Most NPCs only knock back in close range. Solomon Grundy, however, is capable of knocking back players from a distance, and in any direction, while hitting over 400.
NPCs with a charge special attacks knocks the player back while dealing heavy damage if not blocked.
