Stagg Enterprises is a research and development firm and multinational corporation responsible for pioneering new, innovative methods in the fields of engineering, chemistry and genetics. Stagg Enterprises has various subsidiaries; including but not limited to Stagg Industries, Stagg Mining Company, Stagg Cruise Lines, Stagg Stop and Stagg Robotics.

Founded by amoral billionaire and genius scientist Simon Stagg, Stagg Enterprises has known offices in New York, Los Angeles Gotham City and Metropolis as well as various factories and laboratories around the world.
A jealous and controlling man, Simon uses his business to concoct various schemes to keep his daughter, Sapphire Stagg, and her lover, Rex Mason, apart. However, when Rex was turned into the Metamorphae hero known as Metamorpho, Stagg turned him into a puppet and used him as an enforcer and asset for his company. Following Rex's leave of the company, Stagg attempted to transform an architect under his employ into a second "Metamorpho" to replace the original but fails.

  • When the players on the hero side find a Jade Jaguar Totem during their mission to stop Catwoman, Catwoman mentions that she acquired it in Peru while trying to save the jaguars from "Stagg Industries' sponsored murders".

  • Stagg Enterprises first appeared in Metamorpho #1 (August, 1965)
  • As an example of his brilliance, Simon Stagg once genetically re-engineered the Neanderthal known as "Java" into a sentient being. He kept Java under his employ as his personal bodyguard and chauffeur.
  • During the time of U.N. funded Justice League International, Maxwell Lord's ex-wife, Claire Montgomery, created the corporate sponsored team, The Conglomerate, as competition for the Justice League team. Companies that provided sponsorship to the team included American Steel, Dante Foods, Dupree Chemical, Ferris Aircraft, LexCorp, Ovel Oil, Pax Entertainment, Stagg Enterprises and S.T.A.R. Labs. The team has since dissolved.
  • A disgruntled employee, Kurt Vornak, once turned himself into an atomic entity and sought to avenge himself against Stagg by turning one of his brand new corporate offices into molten slag.
