Steelworks is the Metropolis laboratory of John Henry Irons, formed in partnership with Professor Emil Hamilton. Located in an abandoned Suicide Slums factory, Steelworks is an advanced industrial design factory currently developing non-lethal metahuman-control technology for use by Metropolis' Special Crimes Unit.
